INSIGHT RESEARCH MISSION 1
Insight Research Mission 1 (IRM-1) was the first integrated test and inaugural launch of the Insight Test Vehicle (ITV). When the ITV lifted-off at 3:05 pm CT from BHA's Launch Site 1 in Northern Iowa, it became the first high power rocket launched by BHA.

INSIGHT RESEARCH MISSION 2
BHA will launch Insight Research Mission 2 (IRM-2) no earlier than August of 2024 from BHA's Launch Site 1 in Northern Iowa. Following the success of the Insight Test Vehicle Block 1, IRM-2 will be the first launch of the Block 2 vehicle configuration equipped with the Descent Airbrake Guidance System (DAGS). Replacing the the drogue chute of the Insight test Vehicle, DAGS delivers unparalleled control of the decent of the vehicle and will guide it to a designated point on the range. IRM-2 will showcase the initial capabilities of DAGS, focusing on deceleration utilizing the airbrakes without active guidance.

INSIGHT RESEARCH MISSION 3
BHA will launch Insight Research Mission 3 (IRM-3) no earlier than December of 2024 from BHA's Launch Site 1 in Northern Iowa. Following a successful demonstration of the Descent Airbrake Guidance System (DAGS) on Insight Research Mission 2, IRM-3 will demonstrate the full capabilities of DAGS utilizing the upgraded Insight Test Vehicle Block 2B vehicle configuration, including complete decent and guidance functionally. The successful demonstration of DAGS on IRM-3 will pave the way for its integration into future vehicles, enabling safer and more precise landings.
